Since our founding in 2012, we’ve grown into a vibrant team of 90+ professionals working across offices in London, Delhi, Lucknow, Varanasi, Bangalore, Kampala & New York. Our cross-cultural group has a strong mix of education, business & social entrepreneurship experience. And we’re all lifelong students ourselves – with an unwavering dedication to learning & iterating, being open & honest, growing when we inevitably make mistakes.
Jonathan Robert Owen is one of the founders of Teach First, one of the UK’s most successful education charities, as well as Teaching Leaders and Future Leaders. He has also founded Start Up, which gets offenders to start their own businesses on release from prison. He is the author of ten management books, including How to Lead and Tribal Business School. He has built a business in Japan, started a bank and was a partner at Accenture.
Andy Hansen works at the British Council – the UK’s international cultural relations body. The organisation works in more than 100 countries worldwide, building trust and opportunity for the UK and other countries through cultural and educational links. His work focuses on links between social and legal sectors in the UK and other countries.
As Director of Social Entrepreneurship with Fossil, David leads the Fossil Foundation’s global grants program, with an emphasis on unleashing the potential of underserved youth. With more than 20 years in philanthropy and NGO leadership and many years in the field, David’s experience brings a multifaceted toolkit of skills in sourcing, evaluating and measuring opportunities from an impact perspective. Most recently, David served as Principal and Senior Program Officer for the Skoll Foundation. David has also worked with the Goldman Environmental Foundation, the Inter-American Development Bank and the Field Museum of Chicago.
