STiR Education was delighted to be invited to take part in a webinar with United World Schools on the topic of ‘Rebuilding Education: Back to Childhood’. Modern Musiimenta Karema, our Uganda Country Director, contributed to a panel discussion highlighting the challenges faced in getting children back into education following the Covid-19 school closures.
We’re concerned by estimates that show 24 million children worldwide are at risk of not going back into education. STiR is pleased to be working in partnership with each of our state and national governments to understand the roles that we can play in addressing this concern in each geography.
The event was part of the 2020 HundrED Innovation Summit, where STiR was named in the 2021 Global Collection.
