STiR is delighted to announce today the establishment of our Global Council. This group of six esteemed individuals have agreed to support STiR’s work by providing their expert advice and insights in support of our 2025 objectives, especially in the areas of strategy and impact. We hope that the support of the Global Council will enable STiR to magnify our national and international advocacy, forge meaningful connections with influencers and decision-makers, and increase global awareness of the need for intrinsic motivation at all levels of education systems.
The Global Council will be convened by STiR’s Chair Jo Owen. We’re pleased to announce that the following individuals have been appointed to join this council:
- Alberto Lidji
- Asyia Kazmi
- Carolyn Kandusi
- Kate Adams
- Larry Cooley
- Vikas Pota
You can read short biographies of each Council member in the ‘Our Team’ section of our website here. We note that all members of the Council are acting in a personal capacity and will not be representing their respective employers in these roles.
STiR Chair Jo Owen said, “We are so grateful to each of these individuals for agreeing to volunteer their time as part of our Global Council. We believe that their experience and connections within our sector will be invaluable as we continue to evolve as a global organisation, in support of our goal to reach 25 million children worldwide by 2025.”
