The data shows that schools in Delhi have achieved best-ever performance for the second year running, with the pass rate in government schools now exceeding 94%. Public schools also performed better than private schools in the city for the fourth consecutive year, with the pass rate higher by 3.5 percentage points.
STiR is one of just four organisations working with every government secondary school in Delhi, and we are proud of our contribution to these results. STiR State Head for Delhi, Manab Singha, said: “We are immensely happy to see the improved performance of Delhi government schools, and I want to congratulate the teachers whose tireless efforts made this possible. It is evidence that along with the infrastructural improvement, the Delhi government has a very clear focus on professional upgradation of teachers. Through the technical partnership with the Delhi government over the past two years, the STiR team is working to strengthen the academic culture within schools and also creating an ecosystem around the teachers by motivating middle-tier leadership.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”full_width_background” full_screen_row_position=”middle” bg_color=”#f8f8f8″ scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”center” top_padding=”50″ bottom_padding=”50″ class=”section-newsletter” overlay_strength=”0.3″ shape_divider_position=”bottom” bg_image_animation=”none” shape_type=””][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ column_link_target=”_self” column_shadow=”none” column_border_radius=”none” width=”1/1″ tablet_width_inherit=”default” tablet_text_alignment=”default” phone_text_alignment=”default” column_border_width=”none” column_border_style=”solid” bg_image_animation=”none”][vc_custom_heading text=”GET OUR NEWSLETTER” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:center|color:%23d33832″ google_fonts=”font_family:Source%20Sans%20Pro%3A200%2C200italic%2C300%2C300italic%2Cregular%2Citalic%2C600%2C600italic%2C700%2C700italic%2C900%2C900italic|font_style:900%20bold%20regular%3A900%3Anormal”][divider line_type=”No Line”][contact-form-7 id=”5″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
