How you can help
We’re convinced that it is possible to build a world where teachers love teaching and children love learning. By investing in teachers, we can make a cost-effective and sustainable impact for millions of children around the world.
STiR relies on charitable contributions to continue its important work. Please consider donating to support us to unlock global learning through the power of teachers.

Introducing The Spark
The Spark is STiR Education's community of philanthropists who are committed to achieving better educational outcomes for children globally. Supporters of The Spark light a torch for our teacher networks, igniting motivation throughout the whole education system in the places we work. Members of The Spark community are changemakers who invest for growth and sustainability through their unrestricted giving. Members of The Spark support our work with governments. This ensures we always work at scale, sustainably and with schools that serve their entire communities.
Why should you join The Spark?
- Spark events
- Recognition in STiR annual report
- Welcome video
- Yearly virtual interaction with a teacher
- Project visit
- Dedicated point of contact within STiR
How much does it cost?
Members of The Spark donate to the core of the organisation with a minimum gift of £5,000 ($6,000) for a minimum of three years. Our angel investors are helping launch The Spark by providing at least £50,000 ($61,000) for three years. These gifts are unrestricted which means STiR can ensure income is spent where it is most needed, whether on a talented staff member who can negotiate with government officials or on technology that helps us to scale our programme.
