New MOU signed with Tamil Nadu government

We are pleased to share that a memorandum of understanding has been signed between Samagra Shiksha, Tamil Nadu and Schools and Teachers Innovating for Results (India) on 30th August 2022. 

The duration of this MOU is for four years where we will work as a knowledge, implementation and management partner to the state government to support the overall quality improvement of public education. We will support the government in the following: 

  • Provide inputs and recommendations for upcoming Teacher Professional Development (TPD) programmes, and design need-based training modules as part of the state-level Teacher Professional Development project management unit (TPD PMU).
  • Implement research,dip-stick assessments and district-level reviews to support continuous improvement in Teacher Professional Development.
  • Facilitating the identification and promotion of teacher best practices within the state.
  • Codifying learnings from our work and developing relevant frameworks for Teacher Professional Development within the state. 

We will continue to work closely with the school education department to support the department’s vision for education transformation.
