STiR agrees new memorandum of understanding with Delhi SCERT

STiR is delighted to announce the signature of our new memorandum of understanding with the State Council of Educational Research and Training in Delhi. This agreement outlines the commitment from both parties to the Teacher Development Coordinator programme over the next three years, and to the process of transitioning full ownership of this programme to our government partners by the end of this period.

We would like to express our gratitude to our colleagues at Delhi SCERT for their support in finalising this agreement. We have been excited to find such close alignment between our own theory of change and the priorities of the Delhi government, and we look forward to taking this next step on our journey together as we seek to prepare every child in government secondary schools to thrive in a world of ‘unknown unknowns’.

Anamika Srivastava, Director of Finance and Administration at STiR, said: “I’m very pleased to be able to sign this memorandum of understanding today. We’re proud to have partnered closely with Delhi SCERT since 2017, and we have made great progress in developing the foundations of lifelong learning at every level of the Delhi system. We now hope that we can learn together to ensure full government ownership of this programme, and create a blueprint for long-term sustainability of our work within government systems.”
