STiR announces new partnership with the ZVM Rangoonwala Foundation

STiR Education is delighted to announce a new partnership with the ZVM Rangoonwala Foundation. Their funding will support the development of our first project in Indonesia, where we plan to launch our first activities in September 2020.

Meheen Rangoonwala, Global Programme Manager at the Rangoonwala Foundation, said: “We are really excited to be supporting STiR Education’s new programme in Indonesia. We love the intrinsic and sustainable nature of STiR’s model and look forward to making a significant and long-lasting impact on the education system in Indonesia.”.

STiR CEO Sharath Jeevan said: “We’re really grateful for the support of the ZVM Rangoonwala Foundation, as we feel a strong alignment with their mission to enable the empowerment of communities through social development initiatives directed at long-term sustainability and self-reliance. Over the next two years, we hope to reach more than 80,000 teachers and 800,000 children across East Java, and we’re currently working with the Ministry of Education and Culture to understand how our approach can best support their response to Covid-19.”
