STiR is delighted to have been featured in Season 3 of EI Dialogues. This series from Educational Initiatives is intended to develop a conversation about education for social impact in order to confront blind spots and stimulate ways of thinking, knowing and working on education in India.
This episode, recorded in 2019, features our Founder and CEO Sharath Jeevan. During the conversation, Sharath talks about his journey in the social sector, the importance of teachers as role models, and why we are working to build the foundations of lifelong learning. Through experiences and role plays, he also elaborates on our work and philosophy, describing how we work to reignite the intrinsic motivation of children, teachers and officials in government schools in both India and Uganda.
