STiR is delighted to have been featured in the Education in Focus: South Asia podcast from the British Council. Each episode gives an overview of a different area of education, and our episode is on the topic of ‘teacher networks’. Listen to Sandeep Mishra, former India Country Director at STiR Education, in our first ever podcast here.
STiR is also pleased to have been featured in the March edition of a Ugandan government newsletter. The Teacher Instructors Education and Training department (TIET) is STiR’s mother department in the Ugandan Ministry of Education and Sports. We partner closely with TIET to deliver our programme in Uganda, working with their officials to support teachers across 31 districts and 8 municipalities, and their newsletter is shared widely within the education sector.
The article features the opening of our national institute back in January, including a visit from Hon. Rosemary N. Seninde, State Minister for Primary Education. It also provides an overview of our Uganda programme and an update on our work to develop a national sustainability plan. Read more in the newsletter here.
Finally, we’ve received coverage of our new partnership with IDFC AMC in Sustainability Next, an e-magazine focused on energising all stakeholders to increase the sustainability of interventions. You can read this article here.
